What, exactly, is a Collector Show?

If you've never have been to a Sports Collector’s Show or a Sci-Fi convention, you’ll be experiencing a fun and exciting event. Autographs Ink Sports Collectors Show and Wrestlecon events are unique: Autograph show, collector’s convention and celebrity reunions with participants coming from the celebrity world and the sports world. At these events, there is a nominal daily admission to the show events.

At these events, there will be sports hall of famers, sports superstars, and celebrities from past and present as well as memorabilia dealers from across the country. There will be a great abundance of vintage and newer items for sale; such as sportscards, supplies, memorabilia, autographs, programs, photos, figurines and other related items. You will be amazed at the depth of available inventory on display. If you have something to sell, many exhibitors will be eager buyers, if they have an active market for your items. You can “shop” your items among the many different exhibitors for your best selling opportunities.

These events are great opportunities to meet your favorite celebrities from both the past and present, on a one-on-one basis. All guests are available to sign autographs and greet fans. Usually, there will an autograph fee that will be charged for each signature, whether they sign your item or theirs.

Generally, these guests have been contracted and compensated by the promoters of the event. You will need to purchase an autograph ticket at the promoters' tables. Tickets may also be available by advance purchase prior to the event. Once you purchase the ticket, you will notice a number on the ticket. When it is the celebrity's time to sign autographs, the promoter will begin calling groups of numbers. When your number is called, please move to the autograph area. Please have your item out and ready to sign. Each autograph ticket purchased will allow you to get one item autographed. You will need to provide your own item to be signed. If you don't have anything specific for the guest to sign. photos and other items will be available for purchase at the show. These guests are available to sign a certain number of items over a certain timeframe. In order to accommodate all of the public’s request, it is important to have the autograph session proceed in a timely and orderly manner. Feel free to ask each one of them any questions that you may have, but please be considerate of their time. This is best accomplished at the end of the signing session, when their attention is less focused on the autographing process.

The exhibitors and autograph guests are eager to meet their fans and we will make every attempt for all visitors to have a fun experience at the event. We pride ourselves on bringing in great autograph guests who are very fan-friendly. Our goal is for everyone, fans, vendors and guests, to leave our show with a great, positive experience.
